Summer Ending, 2012

No, No, No!
She said, wagging her head
Furiously in the breeze.
The Sun!
I need more sun.
I need more green.
I need more shadows.
Cleanly defined, wrought from Heaven.
Time takes her away from Warmth and Light
To the snap of the cold
And the shudder of the wind.

Towards the End of Summer, 2012

There is no measure
To the essence of water
As it skates
Across the rocks
Slides down the small cliffs
Negotiates and carves
Paths.

That my name means waterfall
Might have a bearing
On my continual attraction
To the continuous medium
Continually.

Significant Others from Mid-Spring, 2012

My experience with the camera has been one of joy. I have taken photographs of musicians at concerts to document the occurrence; sometimes the pictures caught a moment successfully. My expertise for photographing musicians playing their instruments is underdeveloped probably because I do not have a hi-tech camera. But the convergence of the camera view and natural circumstance has awed me more than I ever thought possible. The photos evoke emotions that have no descriptions. That I can record these emotions is a product of the human enterprise which knows no equal.
